Service Description
Metabolic Circuit is 45 minutes of interval training mixed with resistance training. This means you get the fat-burning and heart-healthy benefits of cardio, along with the muscle sculpting properties of a functional strength workout. The group class format is high energy and spirit! Students will receive complete instructions and demos of each and every move. After a dynamic warm up, students will move through stations in timed intervals for an efficient and effective workout that revs your metabolism and motivation to keep coming back for more! Equipment varies in each class, and can include: TRX, kettlebell, dumbbell, medicine ball, stability ball, Bosu ball, sliders, resistance bands, sandbell, jump rope, and your very own bodyweight! Carleen is a Certified Personal Trainer with over 10 years coaching and training clients in strength, cardio, mobility and flexibility. All levels of movers are welcome. Modifications can be given for any exercise to work around injury and establish the right level of intensity for you. Remember to bring your water bottle. You will get thirsty. As the weather cools, dress in layers. Stations will be indoors and out.
